Need Help With Flashing My Xbox360

Me and my friend want to flash our xbox. We both have normal xbox 360s and we thought if we downloaded the activate.iso and put on a DVD +R DL then on xbox and then we download say modern warfare 2 and burn that to a dvd+r dl will it work?

but i was told the activate.iso was for ixtreme 1.6 already on my xbox or somthing. somone please help im confuzed

Granted that you first flash your DVD Drive, this will work. But I don't recommend logging onto live until November 10th so you don't get banned...

You need to flash your 360 first.

Flashing your 360 requires you hooking up to your computer and changing the firmware of the drive. Depending on your drive special hardware is needed. A VIA6421 card is universal needed to flash drive(unless your lucky and have a compatible onboard chipset).
