Iprep details please

I have been trying to flash my friends damn benq and it's just been a pain cuz i was trying for the longest time with Jungle before i learned if you are running RAID it wont work... so i turned to iprep with NTFS4DOS CD, but none of the tuts are really IN-DEPTH they sorta say click here, here and here, wich is fine if you just so happen to have THEIR COMPUTER... but anyways i get to autoexec fine i type dben *7* *5* that goes fine now i let magic (28)? unlock my drive and i think it works because the light on the front of the xbox starts flashing but it goes to read and fails, can someone tell me what to do from autoexec forward with more detail,
what port am i looking for, ect.
any help would REALLY be apreciated

this is my first attempt at flashing an xbox (aside from thinking i had a benq and finding out i had a lite-on so thats been halted for now

)

Ive never used iPrep from a CD, so try using it from a flash drive, thats always worked for me

ok, i might try that if no other info comes in, i was gonna try using just what was laying around

I suggest using DosFlash or Jungleflasher.

But from what I am reading in your post. I would guess its not entering vendor mode.

Did you manually open the tray halfway?

it does enter vendor just using magic keys,(i believe) and jungle wont work it gets to bank1 with 3 .'s (if im lucky) and freezes i heard from someone on jungleflasher chat that RAID may cause that

Hmm. Well raid doesn't really make a difference in DosFlash or Iprep. Have you tried using DosFlash yet?

I see a big problem.

Your VIA card is not showing as 6421. Meaning you have the wrong drivers installed.

Uninstall your VIA card in the device manager and download and install these.

A PM800-M2 Should be supported right?

In your picuture it shows.

VIA Sata Controller 3149. Which is not the right one you need.

If those drivers say your hardware is not supported then you bought the wrong card.

i did not buy the card it was the mobo that came with my comp and no they do not work.

Ooooo Your using an onboard connection. Well then you need to buy a VIA6421 card as your chipset is not compatible.

ah F***, thought i didnt have to spend a dime (apart from cable) ah well just like 40ish bucks or so, for hundreds of games, (want to do my friends too.) know where i can find a cheaper one? (canadian stores) im looking at

Just buy it from there. Not sure of many places that will ship to Canada other than ebay.
