I don't see why not. Looking at the read me it says it can. You would just have to know your version so that you could apply the correct fw.

Instead of reading the drive, you can just take your orig.bin from when you first flashed it and apply that to the new firmware. Then erase and write

I don't have my orig.bin, because someone else flashed my 360. Any other solution ?

Buy a VIA6421 card and flash it yourself. Since it has already been flashed you don't need a probe.

i already have a VIA6421 but I wanted to know if I have to do anything different since my drive is already flashed.

Every time I enter the ports manually in DosFlash and choose either write or read it gives me an error saying "No known flash chip on this port" probably because the flash chip properties are wrong(Device properties are right though). so can anyone tell me whats wrong ?

Yes I'm following the tutorial and everything was working till the part where I have to run DosFlash64 and press Yes. then it keeps sending MTK vendor to different ports, so I decided to enter the Ports manually and one port gave me the right Device properties but wrong flash chip properties.

I've been trying to find someone to flash my drive for a while, but I can't seem to find someone who will actually respond to me. [Hitachi here] will attempt at flashing my own drive today [I'm in class right now]. If I don't do something stupid [which I usually end up doing] I'll let you know how it turns out / give you the pic you requested.
