O lol I have no clue why i thought you have a lite-on. In that case you can actually just use my benq tutorial. Only thing that changes is the Ixtreme Firmware you use. You would download the samsung firmware instead of the benq. Also yes it is recommended to use a VIA card. Just google VIA6421 sata card and that will show you the card that you need.

The only things that would change in the tutorial are.
Download Samsung Ixtreme firmware.
and when writing the firmware the name of the firmware file.

The sata ports will be on your mobo. But most chipsets are not compatible which is why it is suggested to buy the VIA6421 card.

Is there a way to check if my chipset will work, so I don't have to buy the VIA6421 card for no reason.

Download a program called "CPUZ" to see what type of chipset you have. Chances are, it isn't the right one.

Re: How to Flash All Xbox 360 DVD Drives in JungleFlasher

Well, I finally got all of my resources, and yesterday, succesfully used JF to update my firmware. Put Borderlands in and ohh man, sweet game.

Thanks to everyone for their help, especially Carson.

Btw Carson, clicking on free user does not help, its only available for premium members according to their site. Either way, i just googled jf guide pdf and got it right away. Thanks again guys.

I've followed your guide thoroughly but my ms25 Samsung drive isn't being detected. I have a via sata card and I don't know what is wrong.

Yes, I installed it normally, then manually then uninstalled and tried both ways again.

Can you confirm your VIA card is working properly?

Is that sufficient? Maybe I choose a bad slot to put it in in my computer?
