nice tut so what mod chips do i need that i need to buy like
Connectivity Kit V3 PROor Connectivity Kit V3 Lite to flash my liteon drive

If you have a serial port on the back of your PC get the Lite. If you want USB support Pro is the way to go.

isnt a serial port the thing that connects your screen to the computer and witch is easer to flash your liteon the pro or lite?
and im buying a ck3 probe so i dont have to soder any thing

Serial port is the port on the back of your computer with two rows of pin. Looks like a vga port but only has 2 rows.

Any REAL windows-based tuts out there folks??Say involving jungleflasher perhaps? I Gotta tell ya, the dos screen makes me cringe, for some reason. Weird
Still waiting on the pro-kit + probe to arrive.

hi you doin, i was modding my liteon today, and in the part where my dvd drive is half open, and i go to lite-on erase, i erase the liteon firmware after i got the key of and everythin, but by accident i pushed the dvd drive in, now i cant eject my dvd drive or anything, and now when i turn the connectivity kit on my comp freezes everytime...if anybody has any suggestions please answer back

Modchips are illegal to be bought and sold in the USA so you wont find any US sites.
