Well im going to say some things first.
!. I hope that everyone had a great New Years!
2.I am going to start posting strategies full-time.

Now thats out of the way, to the strategies!
Im going to break up the strategies into three groups of topics, Small-Sized, Bigger Maps, New Maps(includes all 9)

This toipic is Small Maps.

Ascension
Beaver Creek
Ivory Tower
Lockout
Midship

Ascension- Keep track of the snipers! I cant stress this enough because people always say "Whos got Sniper" Then they get cut off by a bullet. But also watch for overshield. Although you may not thnik so, it can really stunt your kills. If you have it, dont be hesitant to get some kills! The overshield can take 2 bullets without getting you killed, at least to the head. But dont just run out with an SMG because you think your god because your *** will be sat down faster than people at an Aerosmith concert. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] Thats actually all there is to the map, unless banshee is involved, in which you want to watch rockets too.

Beaver Creek- There is a problem about this map i must say, its that in Team Slayer there is no plasma pistol, but in double team there is. So in Double Team, grab the plasma pistol, because there is only two spawn points (each next to the teleporter). In slayer, go for the sniper and needlers, YES NEEDLERS! They seem like the ****tiest weapon out there, but theyre not. If you have some patience and aim, you can master the needlers. Watch the teleporters too. It doesnt matter what people talk to you in Halo 2, wow so you camped the teleporters right? SCOREBOARD *****ES! Dont get affected by the trash talk because half the time, they suck *** and cant deal with the *** licking skills.

Ivory Tower- In this map,look for sniper, rockets, combo, and sword. They are the key essentials, although shotgun and carbine help a lot too. Camp the elevator and the overshield, although if you have combo, the overshield id relativitavely easy to take down. Also, it tends to work out if you hide behind the three stacked up barrels and shoot through the hole between them (you have to crouch, but it works)!

Lockout- This is quite possibly my favorite map. Sniper and Sword own this map. If you have a shotgun, you can also whoop ***. But I also turn away from the combo on this map, but some people can own with it, so if thats your thing, go ahead. Camp the Sniper spawn and gravity lift. They are key spots in spawing. Also if you can do it, superjump to the top of the huge fork (gravity lift building) you can kick *** up there.

Midship- The weapon that own this map are sword, shotgun, and rifles/combo. Rifles can also make a big difference against close range stuff, like th sword and shotgun. There isnt much camping on this map seeing as you get your *** owned off if you sit in one spot. EXCEPT ON TOP OF THE LITTLE HUT ROOM THING! Where you have to jump up there. If you can dodge plasmas and fargs you dont have to worry about greenades.

yea if u want be a weapon whore and if they talk **** about it its cuz u got to that weapon b4 they did or beat the crap out of them and took it and remember camping is a legitimate strategy

wow you seriously siggested needlers like that seriously has to be the most insanely stupid thing ever i mean the only way they track is if you have host and the oponent is walkin in a straight line. i hope everyone startsto use them then ill never lose a game again

dude needlers could possibly be one of the most powerful weapons in the game if u know how to use them and they also work best on enemies with oversheilds

Yah needlers is good, its that people like you under estimate them and never use them,
Try it, duel wield them though and youll be surprised.

What you people need to work on more is STICKY GRENADES. I know for a fact that i pwn at sticky grenades. It is by far one of the most helping thing in the game. I mean, how convienient is it when you keep getting raped by that same BR guy....just stick him and its over. I come back with that in DT every time.

BTW lYlantis, NEEDLERS PWN!!!!!!!!!! You dont have to be host, there just has to be a red redical, or there has to be a name above their head, just like the PP. It's as simple as that.....

Also, I'm gonna stick with Subzero and tha shack on posting Halo2 strats and anything else that somebody needs help with. Like I said before, I know just about everything there is about EVERY map....except glitches lol Dawn

hey Mantis, needlers are good if dual weild. If youve looked at Rape Spots #2, the only real threat to that spot IS the needlers. This can go for other spots too

Beaver Creek is the best for needlers also they are most effective at medium distances, if im too close to the enemy with needlers, i dont find them as effective.

yea and since most snipers tend to stand still grab a couple needlers let em rip and watch as his *** blows up cuz when the first shot hits he'll panic usually not knowing where the shots came but by then its too late

lol in duals on beaver creek i used single needler the entire game and trust me they were not noobs. i raped them so hardcore. they had smg pistol and i would shoot needles and the ground go through tp and instantly pop back through for the beat down kill

ONLY USE NEEDLERS WHEN U DUAL WEELD.....if u dont then u will kill them but u will die also
