Upcoming AT&T phones

As far as I know there is only one Touch Pro with the US 3G bands out there, someone on howardforums bought an AT&T branded Touch Pro for like $900.

But it should be out Late September-October.

I'm due for upgrade in November. I'll see what's out then. Pantech Duo is looking pretty good. I love the QWERTY for some reason. If I can get that with the touch screen for a reasonable price, I will. Right now, it looks as though it's one or the other for my price range.

AT&T's pretty much confirmed the Touch Pro coming. It'll be called the HTC Fuze.

not getting the Duo. Asked to see one while at my local AT&T certified store (not the dealer) and it's SO flimsy. looks as it'll break pretty easily. I'll wait until November. Hopefully the Tilt will drop in price by then. The Fuze should be out by then according to the guys at the AT&T store. Not gonna be able to afford the Fuze, but the Tilt should be dropped to $100 or less by then....hopefully.

The Fuze (Touch Pro) passed through the FCC today, so it should be out within a month hopefully.

I hate living in nebraska! I don't even got freaking AT&T here and they have some of the best phones around. All we got is Alltel. At least were I live, Verizon is taking over alltel.

Engadget Mobile reports that the Omnia will hit AT&T next month as the "Mirage".

Yeah the HTC diamond is supposed to be good, although I read some reviews and they said the screen was a bit small and hard to type/text on.

I love my Dare though, I haven't thrown it into a wall yet.

I know. Earlier this year stores had Sony Ericsson K850 promo stuff shipped to them, but got an email at the last second to destroy it. Supposedly the N95 was in testing at their labs and was going to replace the K850 as the high-resolution camera phone for AT&T. Now that the N96 is almost out, and a N96 US has been announced, I'm pretty sure the N95 isn't coming to AT&T. Seeing that they have the N96 US, without DVB-H, it's likley AT&T could had been eying the N96 all along.




A side note for the Touch Pro. The phone is pretty much done with testing, they're just working to get the radio ROM to support Triband 3G.

A Palm exec confirmed that the Treo Pro is coming to AT&T, it wasn't on AT&T's roadmap leaked last week so it'll likley be out in November or probably December.
Treo Pro WILL be Available on AT&T, Perhaps not until December (at best) - WMExperts

Also the Samsung A837 (Rugby) was released last week.

AT&T announced the "Knick" an entry level QWERTY device like the Sidekick.

Also of important note it looks like there is another new AT&T phone in this picture, it looks like a Samsung i620 but it's not running Windows Mobile. It's AT&T branded too.

Another update. It's possible that the i907 (Mirage) is the Blackjack 3, based on the i780.


As for the Omnia coming to AT&T, a FCC filing revealed the SGH-A867, and it looks strikingly similar to the Omnia with the FCC label compared to the back of the Omnia.


And the Sliding Samsung QWERTY is the SGH-A767 "Sangria", launching in late October.

Also I removed some of the older Pantech flip phones (C710, C510, C600) only because they appear they aren't coming, the FCC filings are well over a year old. Same with the Samsung A617.
