| You can't unlock Verizon phones. Verizon, Sprint, Alltel and Cricket use CDMA. Unlocking only applies to GSM phones (AT&T, T-Mobile). If you want a phone to use with Cricket it has to be a Cricket branded phone. Theoretically you can use CDMA devices on other carriers by flashing it to the carrier's specific software, but the carrier must have software out for that phone and accept the ESN. It doesn't look like Cricket supports or has supported the Q in the past, so I think you're out of luck. Last edited by T Sizzles; 07-24-2008 at 03:17 PM. | ||||||

| You cannot unlock it. Basically what T said is that it HAS to have a SIM card to be able to be unlocked. When you unlock it from ATT let's say, you put in a t mobile SIM card and activate it. Then your using your ATT phone on T mobile. I did that with my blackjack to use it on pre paid for t mobile. Wasn't that much cheaper in the beginning but it turned out to be. Also i need a new tilt, i got pissed off and broke it.. Yeah it sucks... | ||||||

| Like I said the only way to use CDMA devices on other networks is to flash the phone with the carrier's software for that phone, but Cricket has never supported the Q so there isn't any software out that could allow you to use it on Cricket. Plus their systems have to accept the ESN which is a very complicated thing to explain. | ||||||
