Why do you need the xex? When you replace the modded file, it does nothing to the xex

TerminatioN, not to question your moderating abilities or anything but this should really just be edited in with both the tutorials that are already stickied. just a suggestion...

Not All People Have The Same Region Of The Game
If You Inject A Region Free xex Into A Pal It Won't Work
You Need The Default.exe From Your ISO Rip

Don't See Why This Is Stuck...

I Swear You Look Like Such An Idiot For Typing Like This...

Does it really matter? They can try to use it. Because if they don't have it anyway will it hurt?

Also I have seen uncountable numbers of WAW rips being region free from a PAL source.

So take your usual ****ty attitude and horrible typing somewhere else...

That's Funny Because If You Tried It Like I Did You'd See It Doesn't Work

Make Them Waste Disks

That's Why In My Tutorial I Said Extract Your ISO's default.exe
Not Download This Region Free xex And Replace It

Use Your Little Swear Words...Test It First

People mess up on tutorials all the time. Have you ever been in the support forum??

I'll download a pal source disc and swap xex's and see what happens. I will also extract the xex out of that pal iso. Just to make you happy..

Chill out guys. Grin your tutorial is very clear and easy to follow. But some people will screw it up, making this thread useful.

Just calm down guys.

Re: Forget to Copy your Default.xex? Look here.

I do have a dumb question (no im not a pro obviously), why extract the .xex file and then reinject it after modding code_post without modding it...? That's what the tut says...

Re: Forget to Copy your Default.xex? Look here.

I honestly don't understand that either. I think through trial and error, they decided to say, "Hey, let's inject the xex in there too and see if it works" but they also did something different with the code_post file to make the game work.

Re-injecting the code_post should do nothing to the xex, therefor eliminates the need to re-inject it. Why everyone's saying to re-inject it? Beats me. The original tut says to do so, but I'm not sure.

Re: Forget to Copy your Default.xex? Look here.

When you modify the code_post file it overwrites the xex file making the game not boot. So you reinject the default xex.
