How To Get Downloaded Saves to Work

This is realy easy, the only modding program you need is modio:[Modding Tools] - Modders Tool Kit

First we will find your IDs

open xplorer and go partition 3 -content - your acount -Cod Waw -00000001.
this should bring you to a savegame.svg. Drag that file to your desktop we will not be modding this file.


After dragging the savegame.svg to your desktop, open modio and drag it into modio.


You can either copy and paste your device ids somewhere (both profile and device id) or hit the save id set. saving the ids will make it so you can load those ids onto any save without copying and pasting (this does not work for some people).

Now drag your downloaded savegame.svg into modio. its ids will not match your savegame.svg.


You can either paste the ids in or hit load ids. if load ids does not work, just stick with pasting. when done it should look like this:

Both Savegames.svg has the same ids. Hit resign on the downloaded save to give it your ids. Now drag the downloaded savegame.svg to the folder you got your savegame from on your hard drive. (partition 3 -content -your profile -cod waw - 000001) Over - write the old save.

Your Done!

If this did not work, run the downloaded save through 360 hash block calculator:[Modding Tools] - Modders Tool Kit

open your save then hit tools calculate. you can close the calculator when it says done at the bottom. Then put it on your hard drive (make sure it has your ids)

Enjoy your modded save game!

Thanks, this is quite useful, I was unable to use other peoples save, but not anymore
Edit: Once you do this, do you have to enter campaign, then save and exit and go to the Nazi zombie mode?
Or will it work if you go to NZ mode right away?

Edit: you will have to load the mods first. to do this just go to solo then resume game. After loading the save just quit

You have to enter solo then save & qut.

Its basically just gamesaving, you want a save to work on your profile you need it to have your profile console and device ID, the only problem with the tut is you use modio....

NEED HELP! alright guys i cannot get this to work. i hate to sound like a tard but ive been working on this for a few hours now. I have done everything in the tutorial and it didnt work. even using the block calculator. when i try to load the resume game on my xbox it says that its not the correct ID. if i load it while the box is offline then it wont load der riese because it claims i dont have the maps even though i do... ill list what i do and if someone could PM me that knows what im doing wrong or could be please do so. hitting a wall of frustration.

my process.

download a fresh file save from my xbox with no hacks.
drag it into modio.
save the id's
drag in the hacked saved file from another thread.
update the hacked files ID's to match mine. (profile id and device id)
then loaded to my HDD
signed in to my profile
started COD
clicked resume game
then ERROR not correct ID...

i then redid it loading it in xbox 360 hash block calc the next time after using modio then put on HDD and same thing.

A savegame? No, windows shouldn't recognize the .svg extension.

well when i drag a premodded savegame onto my desktop it says it is a adobe reader file

Try renaming it as a .svg
