Mod Zombies on Solo After 8/21 Patch (Non-Iso)

First you will need a new (clean) campaign save.
  • Solo, Mission Select, Semper Fi (any will work).
  • Play till you see the first 'Checkpoint Reached'.
  • Press Start then Save & Quit:

  • Move your new save to your pc.
  • Make a backup.
Below is where to find the savegame file:

  • Also, enter in any DVARs that are not on Cod Tool, in the advanced tab.

  • Click "Resign Options" and then "Save Changes".
  • Move your newly modded save back onto your HDD.

Now when you start COD, you will need UNPLUG YOUR ETHERNET CORD.
  • Solo, Resume Game.
  • Play for a second, then PLUG IN YOUR ETHERNET AND SIGN IN, Save & Quit:

You can now select;
  • Mission select for the Zombie map of your choice.

*Here is a list of Dvars, that you can copy and paste in to the advanced tab;

If you detect an error, I recommend doing it again with your original save, more carefully. Or just fix the Hex yourself.

Yo Stride, not knocking ya or anything, but isn't this the same way we used to do it, just with duplicating the dvar entries? I thought they patched that way?

It is the same, as noted. It is patched, with one dvar, but not with two.

I bet Treyarch is pissed. They probably worked for weeks to patch it, and we find a way around it not 2 days after they fix it.

... why does this work? When you put in the entry for a second time, what does it do? Does it write to a second, completely separate address where the DVAR is also located?

You're right I did something wrong haha works perfectly. Has anyone gotten jump_height to work? I haven't been able to.

For those who want to use their Zombie svg's still, if you haven't figured it out yourself, here you go:

  • Start your xbox with zombie save loaded
  • Before you start COD, unplug your ethernet cord.
  • Resume game.
  • During the Solo gameplay, re-connect your ethernet cable, and sign in.
  • Quit the Solo game and go into a co-op lobby.
I'm still stuck at work so I can't mess with it, but does it matter if the zombie save is from before the patch? Or do you need a new one created after the patch?
