Changes made on how to submit a COD5 tutorial

This is a discussion about Changes made on how to submit a COD5 tutorial within the Call of Duty 5 Glitches section, where you will Learn to glitch in Call of Duty 5 (CoD5). We have all the new Call of Duty 5 (CoD5) glitch tutorials.; Effective immediately all Call of Duty: World at War glitching tutorials must be submitted in the "Submit a Tutorial" section. The reason for this change is to simply cut down on the amount of threads

Changes made on how to submit a COD5 tutorial

Effective immediately all Call of Duty: World at War glitching tutorials must be submitted in the "Submit a Tutorial" section. The reason for this change is to simply cut down on the amount of threads being posted that are irrelevant to glitching. If you do not know how to submit a thread this is how:

1) Go to the "Submit a Tutorial" section and click new thread.
2) Check and ensure that your tutorial is in the correct format. If you are unsure of what that format is here is how it needs to look.

Quote:
The Format
Title
Make a good title. I've seen so many people posting threads with a bad title. "BEST TUTORIAL" doesn't cut it. Look in the softmod tutorials section and look at my tutorials. My titles state exactly what the tutorial is.

Description
When posting, before you make a title in the post, give a short description (1-2 lines) on what it is you are posting and make sure you italicize it. Good description of what it is and what you think people will be looking for is what will get you good results

Requirements
Be sure to be precise with requirements. List everything you think people will need so they don't have to read the whole tutorial and realize that they can't do the tutorial because they don't have certain hardware/software that you call for in it. Plus, it keeps them from asking you for the "missing ingredients".

Steps
Step by step is always good. I like to write my tutorials while I'm doing what it is I'm writing about. It just helps to insure that everything is covered.

Other helpful tutorials or links
A good practice is the have relative links at the bottom of the post. So for my softmod tutorials, I use to have "how to ftp", "how to mod halo 2" ,etc so people don't have to go searching for what they really want to learn. So lets say you post a mod that comes as a PPF, link them to "how to use a ppf" tutorial on our site at the bottom of your post so you can get more people testing your mod out.
3) Make sure your tutorial falls with in the rules below:

Quote:
Rules & Guidelines
  • Give Proper Credit - Ripping is intolerable, give all proper credit for ALL tutorials/work.
  • Give Thanks - If somebody has helped you, use the "Thanks" button, maybe you'll get some in return. (Located at the bottom right of every post. Currently we do not have one any more.)
  • Type in proper English - Tutorials are meant to help, try to keep them as neat as possible. The easier it is to read the easier time the reader will have understanding it and the more thanks you will probably receive. For example - do not use "U" instead of "you"
  • No Warez in tutorials - If there is a program used in a tutorial DO NOT post a link with a crack, serial, keygen, ETC in the tutorial, link people to the trial version on the manufacturer's website (CODE THE LINKS).
  • No tutorials involving fake credit cards, stealing PayPal account, robbing people, hacking to change grades, or ANYTHING of the sort.
  • Please put a prefix on your tutorials. It will make it easier for our moderators to go through and move all the tutorials to the proper location at a much faster rate.
  • Please post at the bottom of the tutorial where you would like it to be moved to. Although, we may decide it needs moving elsewhere
*** All tutorials are subject to be moved to anywhere, deleted, or edited accordingly. ***
4) Once you are finished submit the thread and it will be moved to the correct section.

I understand this may be difficult for some, and become a hassle but in the long run this will help clean the Call Of Duty 5 section alot. It will also ensure that guests and members will be able to see and learn how to do glitches with out having to check 5 threads, half of which are full of spam and do not work. If you have any suggestions or comments about this feel free to send me a private message or send me a message on my page. Thank you for your understanding,

Punkskater2448.
