There are lots of single shot guns similar to The G3 that it would work with
And then all the pistols.

They work, but the clips are nowhere near as big as the G3, like 10 shot magazines and stuff. I don't really use mine on primary weapons.

as the person above me has just said, the rapid fire mods dont really work. your semi auto guns will get locked, and you will only be able to shoot them slow as hell. and do not believe people that tell you that they have controllers that r undetectable. this is most likely a lie.

That is a lie. The undetectable rapid fire controller by Geturgamefix.com actually does work. I have used it in Call of Duty 5 while on Xbox Live several times and for hours at a time. I wasn't detected using the controller once. If anyone wants a demonstration you can setup a one with them on Xbox Live. Their gamertag is Geturgamefix.
Stop advertising your stupid controllers that are absolutely no different then any other rapid fire controllers.

DO NOT BUY THESE UNDETECTABLE CONTROLLER. THE PATCH CHECKS FOR YOUR SPEED OF THE WEAPON AND IF IT IS HIGER THAN THE ALLOWED SPEED THE GAME KNOCKS IT BACK.

These companies lie to you saying they are undetectable. They are undetectable meaning that, microsoft can not know you have a modded controller, because...well its just impossible. What they can tell though is if you are shooting at a faster speed than allowed, and this is how they are starting to crack down on rapid fire controllers.

I will agree that everyone needs to do homework before bashing on something, but some controllers are "Undetectable" and some are not. I don't like the rapid fire controllers, because they are just going to make it to where the company lowers it more and more until they get to the point where if you are a quick shot it's going to be messing with you while shooting the game normaly. So if you get one that works good job for finding one if not sorry about your luck. Maybe someone should start a thread of where you get a working one, or what controllers are truely "Undetectable".

I am not sure if they would be allowed to make a thread with links leading to other sites in it. Also, there could be scammers that would just post links to their own site claiming they have undetectable controllers but really do not.

It is already at that point. It is not difficult to put the lock on the guns. I cannot use any semi auto rifles because I will lock it up on accident just firing like I normally do in cod 4. It sad tbh that people have to spend this money to do something that others can do themselves. Then they ruin it for everyone.

COD5 has 2 rapidfire caps and a 10 hertz filter. The first cap is trigger pules exceeding roughly 25 per 3seconds and the second is similar but over a period of about 1-2 minutes. MOST current rapid-fire controllers will at least get capped after about 4 clips (that's based on most so-called cod5 coded-controllers) When u get capped u can only fire at about 1 round per second (or just turn it off and use an auto)

I wrote the original code to beat frequency-filters (orignally devised for halo3's similar filters) and released it with instructions on using it to beat cod5 filters (I had no complaints allthough this was before I started playing it myself and noticed the caping system, I think it had to have been patched) . Given the large amounts of people who used said code to make money (for the most part ripping people off) The new style code I'm currently developing for picaxe based rapidfire controllers might well not be posted online; I'll probably end up posting a watered-down version for PIC's in hex. Anyone who has noted any aspects of the caping/filter system please PM/post your findings. People can probably figure-out the best way to mod from the clues left.
