Updated Catapult Glitch

On the clan tag input part. Just put 1 @ but don't press start just yet. When the host start the game, on the map loading part then you press start. In the game if you press start you should still be able to walk around with the error message. After you press back again, it will disappear. But when you press it again you will get the error message, so make sure you jump in the air before you press that back button again.

I have been trying to do this for about 15 minutes and still haven't gotten it... Does this only work in private matches, do you have to be the host, or has this been patched?

when the new updates came out, the normal way people did it got cleared up.
if i gather the info correct from what he is saying, you still do the same method but with an added part.

Change your clan tag to read: "@"

Whilst still on your clan tag screen, the host will start the game.
As the map is loading, press start to confirm your clan tag name and start the game (this is where you will see an error message i think - if so, leave it - DO NOT PRESS OK.)

(now this is where he loses me a little)

Normally, when in the game, all you would have to do is press the "back" button on your pad, that would then give you an error message, the screen would be black and you can hear everything in the game still - only difference is, you will be frozen.
But what i think he means is, when the game starts, the error message will still be on screen.
Press start to remove the error.
Then i think if you press "back" once, then find the place where you want to freeze and then press it again - thats when it will work (when you see the error message again)
Then you can get your team mate to shoot you from below a few times, press back and up, then you will be catapulted.

Apologies, if i have said anything incorrect here, i havnt yet tried this new way, its just my interpretation of what was said at first.
I will try it and confirm later.

i couldnt get on last night so i will confirm either way tonight

also, this can rarely be used in any team deathmatch game etc, the reason being you need to have friendly fire activated to work because obviously you need your team mate to shoot you from below several times.
So unless you can get a traitor on the other team to help you out, you dont really have any chance.

Many use it in private games and hardcore games.

Its just funny to do.

By "just did it" i mean last week. I am in the process of having my home theater installed so I wont be on xbox live for another week or so. I am a forum troll until then
