get the new maps free?

Recover a gamertag that has legally purchased them, go into the Account Management, and re-download the maps.

Yeah there is a way! Its called wait about half - 2 years and they'll be free...eventually

My friend had a friend on XBL who let him recover his account to get the maps (on H3) It worked but when he was in pre-game lobby with the maps, he couldnt see the picture of the map.

yeah it works with Halo 3 but not with the COD maps. Oh well i guess if you just wanna play them offline lol kind ruins the purpose though..
