I will agree that yes, you can do this, but seriously, from working on Live cheating at MS, you should all be aware that this is a HUGE risk. I would venture to guess that for SURE you will all be caught in the next few weeks

On a side note, there are a number of vendor's that are selling the pre-rapidfire modded boxes on Ebay, and it may sound like a good deal, but remember this:

The parts for this mod will cost anyone $7.99/$8.00 USD from any place like digikey, and are very easily obtained. If you are looking at doing this mod, I would recommend that you buy the parts that you need, then add the buttons yourself. At least that way you will have some idea of what you need to replace when you burn out the 555 timing chip.

(FYI: for the wireless ones, the 555 timer, which is the chip that controls the button press, it has certain tolerances with it, and is not built for this application, although it is the most popular chip to do. I would recommend the more powerful (and cheaper!) 556 chip, as you only need one for the triggers, and is made for the voltage the wired/wireless have.

yeah. i would deffentley recommend doing this. my next door neighbor has made his own for a total or 75$ [he bought a new controller] good info bro.

I have been using the M21 Sniper Rifle with the rapid fire controller and it is freaking sweet. I have to put bandolier on because my ammo goes fast though. I'm shooting my sniper rifle in 3-5 round bursts, it's like a guaranteed kill. Then I can run around with my rapid fire pistol after I run outta ammo and just destroy people.

this is really useful in last stand with a deagle. multiple kills are possible.

Hey again,

Looks like you got me started...

I know there is one guy on Ebay selling most of the controllers (under different names), but I will be selling the 'kits' all pre-wired for 'ya, if anyone is interested. No, I am not here to 'sell' stuff, but figured since I have enough left to make ~20 or so more dual-trigger controllers, I figured I'd offer.

And no, I do not use this, as I don't feel it necissary to 'cheat' online, and am in it for the good gameplay! (Although I am noticing ALOT more of this crap happening in-game)

I'm sure we can all agree (Syko?) that the more people that start doing this, the faster Infinity will catch on, and MS will not be pleased either. If you are looking to use this in-house, and not online, it'd be prety useful to have with H3 and COD single player, for sure, but not online.

It's alot of fun to use them, but I agree online isn't the place. I used once and i got messages from the other team yelling at me. I just use it in private matches with friends.


P.S. Last stand is awesome with it, I have gotten a 5 kill streak in last stand.
