CoD4 Prohibited Text Glitch

Alright, well I figured out that there is a way to trick Call of Duty into allowing you to have prohibited text into your clan tag. What you have to do is enter a certain special character into the clan tag so that when you enter your clan tag's special character disappears.

Here is what would happen if you would try to enter a prohibited text into your clan tag.

Outcome:

So what you do to avoid that error is:

1) Start entering the text you want to be in your clan tag, but somewhere in between the word add this special character

2) Then finish adding the letters

3) Hit start and this is the result you get

Note: You can only use 3 letter words.

No problem

There is other buttons you can use also, the O with a / through it works too.

the \ shows up in the lobby but that doesnt show up at all

ok and when i try to do this my game freezes

it freezes when i press done after entering the tag

Thats weird, I have had many people do this and no one's xbox freezes.

before i was writing A S S then going back and putting in the x now when i dont go back it works

You cant because you have to have the × in there. That would make 5 letters.
