Tooootally!!! I loooove the M14. It is awesome, but I have two problems:
1) You don't need dead silence: just squat. I always squat no matter what, and dead silence isn't *actually* silent because you can hear them if they run and are close enough.
2) Use the red dot instead of the silencer: the range is longer and you can aim better. With the M14, it's one-shot headshots, and if they hear you after they are dead, it doesn't matter. It's amazing how many headshots you can get even without zooming in if your fingers are quick.

And btw: do NOT use a turbo controller with the M14. You need to be able to shoot in two-shot bursts, because it only takes two to kill someone and four will absolutely kill your aim (it recoils like crazy even at 3).

Looks easy enough but you really didn't give much of a view on how good it is. All you did was cage match a friend and show _H_O_W_ it works, not the actual footage of you killing and showing the effectiveness, other then about 10 seconds of a triple kill.

yess a silencer is good on it
but for search and destroyy
A sniper would be a good choiceee
It totally depends on the mapp
but if in you had an m14 and somebody came round the corner with an smg
your kinda screwed at close combat
But very good at long - medium range
