issues with freeze jump

Hi, i have read through all the freeze jump threads and i have tried man solutions yet the freeze jump is not working for me. Here is what is do:
1. Have friend host a Private match in old School free for all.
2. Enter my clan tag as @@@@
3. Read the message and then leave it
4. Wait for the game to start
5. Run to spot (in bog) where i want to glitch
6. Jump in the air and then press "back"

Helpful info:
I am at bog
Old School free for all
Xbox 360
private match
Gamertag : Mr. Rogers 1304

I know the problem.

Clan tag - @@@@
DON'T PRESS START
Wait for the game to load fully.
When the countdown is done, press start.
Press back, and the little Invalid Characters window will show up.
Press Y.
Close the guide.
Jump into the bog Freeze Jump and press back.
Get butt raped.

You were pressing done too soon. Only press done until AFTER the game countdown is complete.

3)press start after countdown
4)press back twice (to get rid of stupid box)
5)go to freeze place
6)jump and press back
