A Guide To Strafe Jumping
Here is a short yet in-depth tutorial on how to strafe jump as well as a video.

Text Tutorial

Step 1: Face one angle, normally to the left or right of where you want to jump.
Step 2: Press the joystick in to sprint and start towards the direction you are facing.
Step 3: Depending on the jump, turn quickly or slowly turn towards the place you want to jump.
Step 4: Jump in the middle of your turn and sort of steer yourself to the location you wish to jump to.


Video
This is a video displaying two good locations you might not know about to practice strafe jumping. They are also good glitches where you can only get by strafe jumping. I hope you enjoy.


Tips
  • Use lighter guns, think about it. Strafing with a mini uzi is going to be much easier than strafing with a SAW.
  • Use c4, for some reason this not only makes you strafe easier, it also tends to make you go further. Just have your c4 out, no need to throw it.
  • Use a higher sensitivity, when I do most jumps, I have my sensitivity on 6, however depending on the type of jump I may make it higher or lower.
