On top of Overgrown Gas Station

quick question to all....a while back, i was playing hctd on overgrown and was continuously being sniped from the gas station. so a friend and i, after several deaths, decided to sacrifice ourselves to find out where the muzzle flash was coming from exactly. turns out the guy was on top of the gas station behind the sandbags. keep in mind this was after the update on 360. now i have spent the months since then trying to get up there in a quick and efficient manner and i have not found any way on any site how he did it. since then, i have also never seen anyone else use that spot. if someone can help me out the gt is xLonnieLarkox. i am on either before 3pm or after 1am.

If you are thinking of the same gas station as I am, there is a barrier on it you can't get on top of. You can't even freeze jump and land on the barrier, we have tried. If anything you can get on the mini tank near the gas station if that's what you mean.

na this was a regular game and it was in the first 20 secs of the match. i have no idea how he got up there but me and my boy are trying to figure it out now.

Show me which gas station you are talking about because if we are thinking the same one it is physically impossible.

Yeah that area has a barrier over it. I am trying some stuff with it at the moment but last time we tried to get up there, there was a barrier.

If u find anything then i would be very impressed, i got my clan to give this a shot, and like TehPhelix is saying there is a barrier there Its probably just a rumor, or the guy wasn't wearing his glasses and he was in front of the oil thing

i know a other spot like that it is in crash between the 3story and the marine spwn my friend said there was some one up there and even said it was done in team death match but me and my friends tryed it in old school and didnt get it so i could use some help

I tried freeze jumping up their earlier today, as well I tried this weird jump on someone's head when he was on the truck and so was I, then right as I hit his head I rocket jumped so I got just high enough to get on it yet there is a barrier so.

As for captain, if you show me where I can tell you if it is even possible and if it is I will show you how to do it.

Yeah on crash i have also seen poeple up there.


In the middle level of that buildin, the very dark place, i saw a guy move in there.

You use to be able to jump into the balcony from the building across from it in the beta and go up stairs inside it, however I think they patched it. You can't jump on the top because their is a barrier, if anyway you would have to get in the balcony which I think after the beta they added a barrier. If anything it was a freeze jump.

well thanks guys for the help. ill keep trying. i know most the glitches on the boards but at this point im looking for more tactical spots than anything. if anyone has any good ones, hit me up on xbl.

Well depending on which map you are on then you can find some nice and easily getable spots that prove to be tactical.

Bear in mind this happend like 4 days ago, he confirmed to me he was "around there" nit wouldnt say anything more.

Freezing isn't patched, there is just a new way to do it, which not a lot of people do know how to do it which is good. As for the jump the only way would be to freeze jump because there are barriers on the top side where you can jump from top to top, and the balcony you use to be able to get in has a barrier now so only way would be to freeze jump and land inside it I believe.
