I was bored the other day so I made this. I think it's correct but if it's not I'll change it I still have the PSD.

dude, the acog has no damage multipliers at all, and there is no way there is any gun as powerful as the r700 or the barret

Yes the Acog for the M40 has a base damage of 75 instead of 70. Don't believe me go into a private match shoot you friend in the arm its a one shot kill do it with the Remington 700 and its a 2 shot kill. R700 + 50 cal are better against juggernaut. But M40 Acog is the only 1 shot kill to a none juggernaut.

omg, i get one shot kills with the r700 all the time, the barret too. every gun has one shot kill capabilities, and according to your chart, the r700 has the same power as the m40, so they both must be one shot kills or not

You fail you have the chart reading skill of an 8 year old.

Yes every sniper has 1 shot kill capabilities but, M40 ACOG is the only 1 shot kill if you hit your enemy in the limbs (arms and legs). I have made this as clear as possible if you still don't understand give up.

well I just found that acoged sniper rifles are really great sure they dont have the range but you can get more accuret at close range.

seriously, adding an acog will not do anything, only change accuracy and range. you must have been closer or hit them differently with the m40a3 acog, cause i play cod all the time and i know for a fact that acog does not increase damage. Even ask infinity ward yourself.

If you still don't believe it PLEASE go into a private match with a friend and shoot him in the arm with stopping power 50 cal than do it with stopping power M40 ACOG. With the 50 cal it will be a two shot kill to the arm, with M40 ACOG it will be a one shot kill to the arm.

infinity ward wanted to make call of duty 4 as realistic as possible and adding an acog to get more damage is unrealistic, so if it is true, they must have accidentely done it. i guess im trying to say that there is no way that infinity ward would have purposly made the acog get a damage multiplier

How is Call of Duty realistic its a Video Game they made it so it was more balanced. ACOG = Less Accuracy + Damage. Makes sense to me.

the less accuracy doesnt make a difference, because you will be at a closer range so you dont need the accuracy, and if you believe that the acog still gives a damage multiplier, why doesnt it for any other gun/ why dont you have the acog for any other gun listed.

i dont see why its only for the M40, it makes no sense. and even if there is a multiplier it doesnt matter at all. you will either get a one shot kill or two shot kill no matter what sniper you use. you will still need to hit head neck or chest to get a one shot kill no matter what. ive tried the dragunov with acog and the M40, and the only difference i saw was fire rate and clip size. you know i won. so lets just settle this in a 1 on 1 sniper acog fight, drop me your g-tag and ill tell you when the match is (i have limited live access) and my G-Tag is Tess Tickles777 and i am THE Call of Duty Sniper.
