COD 5

How do you guys feel about COD5 being set back into the WWII Pacific theater...? IMO, I don't really mind or care.

I think it will be great, as usual. I mean, you can ***** and complain about losing the "modern warfare" aspect, but who really gives a sh*t? Infinity Ward put out an excellent game and really raised the bar high, but I truly think that Treyarch knows this and WILL put out a competitive game on all levels. If this is a phail, then we can say that they should have stayed with modern warfare and weapons... but until then, don't go flaming this game until its proven itself for better or worse.

no its gonan be terrible, infinity Ward is not making it, and there have already been way to many WWII Games for the 360, dont look foward to it at all!

it will be different.
it was like being obsessed with medal of honor frontline. then playing medal of honor rising sun. its really going to be the same game, but with different styles of playing.
personally ill think i'll like it because i prefer open warfare over urban. it will deff be more CQC than other CODs. I think that Activision wouldn't go back to WWII unless they knew for a fact they could somehow top COD4. plus taking on banzai soldiers again will be funny.

i saw the trailer for it, its another war game with bad graphics, the grahpics arent going to be anything like cod4

From what Ive read so far it does actually sound pretty decent, I might get it, and the release date is still set to TBD, The trailer to it looks sweet, and there already playing commercials for it here.

CoD3 sucked and the makers of CoD3 are making CoD5 so its going to suck...

Just watched the trailor and it looks pretty danm cool the graphics are sick.. Just have to get past the fact that the weapons are going to be different. Flame thrower will be fun to fry people with.
I also hope that if you shoot someone with a flamethrower on they burst into flames..lol

I think it will be pretty cool, set in WW2, modern games are getting repetitive imo

i don't believe that cod5 will go far like cod4 has. cod4 just owns you choose wot guns u get and perks etc.

not sure if this has been said already cause i dont feel like reading through the post so dont be an a$$ if i am being repetitive. There is two different groups that make the call of duty series. They will called group 1 and group 2. As group 1 works on the next game of the series group 2 works on the sequel to group 1's game. So when group 1 finishes the game they are working on then they will start to work on the sequel to group 2's game.SO this allows them to make games at a quick rate without effecting the quality of the game. SO to answer the question i believe that COD5 will be unique since it is a different group working on it. Although it is a different group it will still be required to have the same zest that COD4 has but will have its own twist to it so i am excited to see what that twist is.
P.S. When i say sequel i mean the next call of duty not necessarily the follow up of the previous game. Ex. The sequel to COD3 is COD4 and so on.
