Maps Become Free?

Ok, so i know the maps have been out for a while and i still dont have them. Im thinking about buying some MS points today and buy them but i dont want them to be free in like a week. So is there any news on these becoming free anytime soon?

cod4 are giving the maps for free now in the copies where i live.

I don't think they are going to be giving them for free. To many people would be pissed that they had to buy them and then 2 months later they gave them away.

at gamestop, they "sell" the maps for free. what you do is go to the person at the register and ask them for a CALL OF DUTY 4 VARIETY MAP TOKEN. It is a piece of paper with a code on it. NOTE:THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS ARE ALSO ON THE PAPER. you go to gameoftheyear.callofduty4.com and enter your region and do all of the information crap. then, you type in the code on the card. after that, the website will give you a 25-DIGIT code that you type in at the xboxlive marketplace. Make sure you read this and give thanks

or he might not have a Gamestop where he lives.. BTW if you buy the new Game of the Year Edition of CoD4 you get the code for the Maps.. but i dont think you guys want to waste money on that.

Protip: Asking for a token does not work. They said it comes with GOTY Edition.
