Well I'm going to make a thread on how to rank up fast and easy!

Search and Destroy
Yes, If you ask a lot of people on how to rank up fast and easy most of them will say search and destroy. Why because each round is about 2 minutes long and you basically get about 50 points per kill and 25 points per assists.

Weapons for Search and Destroy

Ok First What I suggest using on Search and Destroy is MP5 and M16. YES! Its is that simple my mates...How because you already start with those guns .

This is how I suggest to use these guns.


M-16

• Red Laser dot [ This is a savior to all guns in call of duty 4 except for a handful. Some aimers are really hard to see people when you are shooting them so this is where you can change your aimer to Red Dot and you will be able to see and aim VERY well.

• Any camo [In my opinion you really do not need camo unless you are scouting (sniping) ]

• Side arm USP .45 / Desert Eagle [ These side arms right here really do some damage with stopping power if you run out of your ammo while in a duel just pull out one of these guns! They fire really fast and and knock a opponent out. You unlock the desert eagle at 42 and you will have to use the USP .45 until then ]

• Special grenade - Smoke [ You may think that smoke grenades are pointless eh? Well you wrong you can easily catch a team of guard with this object first you can throw the smoke grenade at target B tricking them so when they see the smoke grenade they will say "Oh there the smoke around the target there trying to hide them selves to plant" But no throw it a B and then sneak your way over to A for an quick plant.

• Perk one C4 x 2 [ This perk is so important right here. While you are on defense you will love this like you moms breakfast delight >.<. First what you do is run to a base go into the prone position right in from of A or B and toss the C4's under there. And run and either camp or fight with you team but when you hear "The bomb has been planted" And it was at A where you threw the C4's explode your C4's. [ TIP: IF YOU HAVE A WEAPON OUT AND NOT YOUR REMOTE FOR THE C4 ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TAP THE "X" BUTTON TWICE ON YOUR CONTROLLER AND THAT WILL ALSO MAKE THE C4'S EXPLODE ] That tip makes it good so you can run around and kill people and when you hear it plant you will instantly kill the bomb planter and most likely the men covering him.

• Perk two Stopping Power [ Boy oh boy...The M-16 it nothing with out this perk..This makes the M-16 in beast mode :p... Why because 95% of the time it is a one shot kill if you are shooting someone with out juggernaut.

• Perk three Last Stand [ Many of you all might have not known this but if you are in last stand and you kill someone you get 100 Points! That is basically 2 kills in 1. If your a tricky little one you can lure the opposing team toward you by shooting a non silence pistol in the air and make there people come towards you because they can see you on the radar shooting. Most people are on the edge of there seats while playing Search and Destroy and when they go to shoot you it most likely a "spray and pray" and when they see you fall to the ground they will continue on like you are still alive!

Now you can use the mp5 with the options above or like this.

• Any Camo

• Side Arm - USP .45 / Desert Eagle

• Special Grenade - Smoke / Stun

Perks
[These are the main differences from above]

• Perk One Frag x 3 [ Another amazing perk right here. There are so many spots where you can throw a grenade in a random spot and get like two kills imagine increasing your chance by 3.]

• Perk two same as above Stopping Power [ SMG's shoot a lot of bullets so you want all the ones that actually hit your target to make up for your missed bullets. ]

• Perk three Extreme conditioning [ If you going to be shooting with out a silencer you are going to want to move you position and you want to do it FAST! ]

I Use a mp5 silenced, silenced p90, or a sniper rifle. And get like 1080 xp a game.

Yes also silenced things are good because you can should and no one knows where you are obviously thanks for the advice

I use MP5 w/silencer. Claymore, UAV Jammer, and Extreme conditioning on a small map.. on a big map i use Dragunov. claymore, uav jammer, last stand..

i like the red dot to if i am using the m16. i usualy just use the silenced mp5, p90, or sniper if im playing with 3 frags, stopping power, and dead silence. dead silence is one of the most useful perks in search and destroy (at least i think). this allows you to run and jump with no noise at all (unless falling from a pretty high place). it allows you to sneak around their flanks without them even knowing your there

Well I have started to play hardcore SaD with my clan. Its so mush better then regular SaD. Because you don't need a silencer, you can use uav jammers. You can use red dot sights on anything you want. I think its better then regular, but make sure you don't kill your teammates.

i use a silenced ak47 with claymore. claymores are really effective but try to put them where theyre least expected to be. also use stopping power. beast mode. and i use dead silence. its my favorite perk in the whole game. a lot of gamers dont think it makes a difference but its come in handy with misery loves company and just humiliation in general but you can run around not making a sound and with the silencer you never show up on radar. try it its pretty effective. i average about 600 points per game with it

Would it be a valid argument to say that it is quicker to rank up playing HQ? I can't really compare because a round on HQ you can get about 500-600+ not counting in the challenges and a round on shipment you can get about 1000-1500+ xp including challenges. These would be on....I would say 10-15 min. matches.

I digress but the reason I said I can't really compare is because I don't play S&D that much. Only time I play is when I'm in a party that feels like playing hardcore SaD but my prefrence is HQ. So....which one is quicker?
