I think the .50 cal is a treat!
so what if they hear it throughout the map then they are now concerned bout keeping themselves concealed, and if your in a good enough spot, the .50 will rarely be the reason your caught

very helpful guide i learned a few things from reading it. my personal preference is a m40a3 with stopping power and deep impact or iron lungs.

just to add on, i think a good kit will include smoke. its useful in covering and masking displacement/transitional movement, not to throw into a building before storming with a P90 and martyrdom like most of the retards who play COD do.

You should probably also add this bit of advice for Counter-Sniping (or for general sniping) - duck after each shot (or prone, preferably prone if you can) and when you reload go prone, your gun goes up when reloading and to other people sniping it tells 'em 2 things 1) You're reloading (duh) and 2) your location. This is a well written and informative tut for sniping (and I love to snipe).

I'm ok with this tut, it's good and well thought out. Except the Run-N-Gun. Barret ACOG = Fail. Takes little skill, and most of the time when I see people using it they got they're stupid modded controllers. Other then that excellent guide. I liked the information part at the beginning, and I like how your anti-matyrdumb.

this was a great guide. i only use the m40a3 though cause i just dont get the same fee with the m21 dragonov. i do however sometimes use the R700 and barrett.

Plant a claymore right beside where you plan to snipe, and use last stand. If you're countersniped, just shoot the claymore and the enemy team doesn't get the points
