Re: juggerNOT

Depends on the class. Some classes I use juggernaut some classes I don't. If you think about it juggernaut is one of the most effective perks in the game which is why most people hate it as well. I personally don't care as I have dealt with it since the game came out. It only takes a few extra bullets to kill a person so that just means I shoot him even more. I mean if you break it down juggernaut is the most effective perk for that slot so why not use it.

Re: juggerNOT

myself i cant get away from my stopping power long enough to use juggernaut. honestly ive never used jugg so i really dont know how good of a perk it is. i agree it doesnt take much more to kill a juggernaut. the only time i get pissed is when i get a shot on a jugg and then he turns a corner still alive. and what about the juggerstanders (Juggernaut & laststand) you waste a whole clip on these guys

Re: juggerNOT

I agree with phelix, well with me it depends which mood I'm in. If I want to piss people off I use it. Like in snd, I will use a mp5 with a red dot, so I show up on the radar and juaggernaut so I get more kills so then they get pissed at me.

So using juggernaunt has its ups and downs but its still a really really good perk.

Re: juggerNOT

Yeah the only thing I use it for is my Hardcore/S&D Sniper class. Otherwise, Stopping Power is much more effective because there is more of a chance that you will finish them off before they notice you. At least this is true in my case, because I use headphones so I can hear people before they come and, sometimes, shoot them before they get a bullet out of the barrel. With Juggernaut, you will surely be shot before you kill them if merely anticipating their arrival, and this injury continues so that you are susceptible longer. The only reason I don't use Stopping Power and use Juggernaut instead on that specific sniper class is because Stopping Power makes no difference in the number of bullets used on a sniper rifle and I don't go around shooting with my pistol in Hardcore or Search and Destroy.

You bring up a good point but you have to consider this. In many game types there are those pesky random grenades as well as claymores, c4's and noob tubes. Now lets compare the two perks..stopping power and juggernaut.

Juggernaut protects you from..
  • Enemy bullets
  • Enemy grenades
  • Enemy c4's
  • Enemy claymores
  • Enemy noob tubes
  • Enemy RPG's
Stopping power does...
  • Kills enemies quicker
So Juggernaut is much more well rounded and effective against many more things rather than just killing people more quickly. It protects you from what people hate most in the game which I why I use it most of the time.

Re: juggerNOT

I never really use it. I find it kinda cheap due to the fact of losing realism. But that's just me. But anyway I always prefer Stopping Power or UAV Jammer. But it's dumb, I mean you could shoot somebody in the chest with say a .50 Cal. as many times as you want, and still no death. Compared to rarely not getting a 1 Hit kill with it.

And you, sir, bring up a very good point. The advantages for Stopping Power are less in this sense, although direct Frags or Claymores still kill you, proximity ones may not. Very good point. Still, I am hit less often by these than I encounter someone to shoot before they see me. And I think that Juggernaut is as effective in increasing the bullets someone else needs to shoot as yours are in reducing them with Stopping Power, but with stopping power, you may not get hurt at all, whereas with Juggernaut you are bound to be, which will negate its benefits in the next firefight, while Stopping Power is just as effective every time. Also, I always have Fragx3 on, and I always get at least one kill per Frag, but Juggernaut wouldn't help me there. However, if you don't use grenades, this is useless.
I'm just saying, it all depends on your style. For me, stopping power is the way to go.
Oh but there is one more thing. I have a "Headquarters Shipment" class that is an MP5, Fragx3, Sonic Boom, and Martyrdom. That is great. Always get someone with at least one of four grenades. That is a fun map on Headquarters!

I only get pissed off when other people get pissed off over it, I mean, so what if you use juggernaut, it's a perk isn’t it? It is allowed to be used. If some one calls me a Noob for using juggernaut then I just tell them they're a Noob for using Last Stand, or Stopping power, or UAV jammer. I use Juggernaut for extra health, I’m sure nobody would ever turn down body armour would they? You wear a bulletproof vest in the police force, does that make you a noob?

Overall, every Perk has different effects and you're not a Noob for using any of them.

Re: juggerNOT

To add more to the pot Jug and Stopping power actually offset each other. Not sure exactly but just for ease, say double health vs double bullet power. they offset. So if you use stopping power on a Jug its like neither of you have a second perk if you follow me.

There are a couple other perks that offset each other too but i cant rememeber which and which.

i feel that juggernaut vs stopping power (in terms of health) is just like
double tap vs stopping power (in terms of ammo)

For example.. with juggernaut.. you take longer to kill him but he willl take longer to kill you.
and with doubletap i always feel it's pointless.. why use double tap over stopping power? it puts more bullets in an enemy and kills him just as fast as stopping power.. but it empties your ammo much quicker

Yeah that's so true. I don't know why anyone would use Double Tap over Stopping Power. Don't even know why they put it in the game. It's neat to see a P90 on Double Tap though. Funny anyway.
