| the real standby for host obviously have box host and have zone alarm up. . . All the standby for host tutorials tell you to press the stop button on zonealarm right as it turns to the 2nd part of stage 3 (as the matched players boxes disappear), THATS WRONG. . . . kinda, you need to press the stop button before the matched players boxes disappear it will take a split second for the stop button to take effect, you need the matched players boxes to disappear in that split second, so time it perfectly and (anticipate) the boxes disappearing if you get the timing right i guarantee you host, DO NOT turn it off untill it goes to step 4, if you do youll lag out and the game will still count on your experience Timing is everything with this and after a few games youll have the timing down easy. . . If you feel your doing it perfectly but your not getting host, either your still doing it wrong or your host banned. GT - fireflame93 | ||||||

| No, YOUR WRONG. So what, I did it for like 4 hours one day, AFTER the boxes dissappear, you NEVER know when they will, so you will just keep screwing up alot this way. It also somewhat depends on your connection speed, and the speed of your computer. Last edited by Crackmatt; 07-21-2007 at 06:02 PM. | ||||||

Anybody who knows anything about halo 2 networking knows that you wait until the boxes disappear and right when they do hit stop that same split second. I would like some kind of proof that you think this works. Put it on youtube or something cuz it's going to take more than your word to convince everybody your right. | ||||||

| well now in all honesty, i think ur not to smart, alot of people cant do stuff so they find a tutorial and dont kno that it works, so they TRY IT THEMSELVES. . . uh duhhhh, and as i said before im host banned and im done playing halo, all i can really say is that majority of people who try cant do it, including me at first, you gotta get your timing down right and some of yall say there isnt the same time always, well most of the time it is the same, and when its not you undue it and try to time it right the second time, its still possible ive done it 90% on the second and third try for one game (seeing as how im sure ill get in some kind of trouble if i put my words any harsher towards soniccomet, ill leave it at that) | ||||||
