How to give host on a MAC.... AND TEAM STANDBY
My friend sent me this, if its hard to understand I'm sorry...
What's Needed:
1. DoorStop X Firewall (DSX) (any1 have that with a crack so we can put it in the downloads section?!!?)
2. Bridged Connection
Steps:
1. In DoorStop X (DSX) scroll down to "All Other Services" on the left side and click it.
2. Once you get there add all IP's By pressing the "New" button on the right side.
--- Bungies-65.59.234.16*(in place of the * make it 1 then the other with a 2)
--- The Ip that you set your xbox up with. Should be something like 192.168.2.2
3. Go to the DSX preferences
4. Go to advanced and turn on "Protect UDP" as well as TCP and uncheck only system udp ports (through 10230).
5. now Join your friends room, the allow all access button is pushed.
6. Add his IP to the list of ones you just added..
7. Above where you added the IP's there are four buttons you can press... press the one that says "Allow Acces From Only Addresses In List"
8. Start the game and he should be host.
To Team Standby:
What's Needed:
1. Another Bridger
2. DSX
Steps:
1. Add all of the players on your team's IP's to the All Other Services" list.
2. Start a game with the button "On Allow All Access" pushed and
have someone bridge you host.
3. Once in the game switch between "Allow Access From Only Addresses In List" and "Allow All Access"
There you go........... All you MAC users..
