Then put your firewall on medium when you get host boxes

Click the image to open in full size.

Ok it gets a bit tricky at this part (so i will try to explane it the best i can)
So you have to press the stop button as fast as you can when it goes onto step 3 to turn off internet access immediately.
the pic will help you
Click the image to open in full size.

And finaly when it goes on to stage 4 you have to press the stop button as fast as you can to start up internet access again.

Click the image to open in full size.

If you do all that correct you will give your self host
note you can not give your self host in double team

hope this helped

I was the only in the party, i was testing to see if it works. I did everything; turn the internet zone high in step 1 and then to med in step 2. Sometimes the boxes get filled up as they come in or sometimes i get full team right away (but i do get the boxes). Then when there name goes away i turn i press the stop and then nothing happen and my rank comes and goes and when i get to step 4 i''m the only one there. What should i do

Try putting your firewall on low and your trusted firewall on low when you get hostboxes and then try again.

Also do you have the bungie and xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) IP?

You only need one of bungie's ip which is 65.59.234.161 and that's it(other than your network to internet).

yea and when you press the stop button make sure you count to 8 seconds if it goes to step 4 before you count to 8 just stop it but if u counted to 8 seconds and it still hasnt went to step 4 then stop it or you will lag out i tried thats the exact time you could only standby for in anything for matchmaking becuz if you do it till it goes to step 4 and its not working and your thing is still standbying then your gunna lag out no matter wut so just count to 8 so yea make sure u go to CREATE PARTY NOT OPTIMATCH because when you say you have to go and CREATE PARTY that means you have to go to creat party and from there you have to go to the playlist and then start it from there

I have three different bungie IP address and i also have my router IPs address intrust. Before i didn't have my router IP address intrust, i would never get out of step 1 when i put my internet zone to high, but now i will get to the step 2 and lower it to med and then when i get to step 3 (Box) and when there names go away and i press stop and then it will take maybe 15 to 30 sec to go into step 4. While waiting for step 4 to come up and press stop again, my rank comes and goes away. But when i get to step 4 i'm the only one there and its say game over. Now you are saying that when i get to step 2 i should lover my internet zone to off (low) and when i get to step 3 and the names go away press stop and count to 8 and then turn it back on???? Will this hlep get host ???

Will someone help me?

You have to make sure you can bridge first... meaning you need to have the proper cable. I had this problem too, until I got an xbox 360 which came with a crossover ethernet cable, chances are you're using a straight ethernet cable which won't work for bridging.

Ok, the almost impossible to find is here. I found out how to bridge yourself host.

First off, make your own party.Put your Ip under trusted.Bungie and xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) should also be trsted. If you have any other players in your party put their IPs under trusted. And any other Ips in your ZAP should be under internet.
Click the image to open in full size.

Go back to your main tab and put your top firewall to high and bottom firewall to medium.
Click the image to open in full size.

Start the game. It will take a while, but when you get box host turn the top firewall to medium, so people will be able to join.
Click the image to open in full size.

After you have a full list of Matched Players, and it configures game. You and your parties Gamertags should be the only thing showning after the boxes dissapear. This will happen between stage 3 and 4. When this occurs hit the STOP button on ZAP.
Click the image to open in full size.

When you hit stage 4 hit the stop button once more. Then congragulations you are host.

If i can brigde and get host (given by other bridger) and lag people out, does that mean my set is correct and i should be albe to get selfhost or there still can be a connecting of the cable problem? I really want to learn how to selfhost.

the way i bridge my self host is abit different. sorry that i dont have pic to show but it works. first when you are in the pregame lobby have your internet zone on high until you get box host.then move your bar down to medium so it will allow people to join. once it goes into three move your internet bar back up to high. once you get to 4 when the countdown gets to 8 move it down to medium again and then you got it.
