Kraftys K&M Macro Tutorial By Krafty First, download the program and file: :: Click Here :: Now that I have the program and file on my computer, what do I do now? Remember, you have to be host in order to Team Standby. I will walk you through this, so read carefully. Note: If you are using a router, you must have Cain & Abel enabled for it to work. If not you have to have your connections bridged. Using Cain & Abel Step 1: Open the recorder program. If it asks you to choose a language for your keyboard. Simply go to Tools > Optiosns > Click the Keyboard tab > Select your language. ![]() Step 2: Click on the open folder ![]() Step 3: The browse menu should show up, select my file (which should end in .krc), and then press Open ![]() Step 4: Now your window should look like this: ![]() On to Zone Alarm(Leave recorder open) Step 1: Open Zone Alarm Step 2: Click on the "Zones" tab ![]() Your window should look similar to this: ![]() Step 3: Make sure you LAN's Zone is on Internet, and go to the Bottom-Right hand corner and select "Add>>" -> "IP Address..": ![]() Step 4: Now, read carefully Here are the IP's you need in trusted: Bungies 65.59.234.161(Or anywhere around that range) Everyone in your party except you(Including the bridger) I am going to use 2 random IP's for example, once you have all their IP's in, click apply on the bottom-right hand corner: ![]() Step 5: Now click back on the main tab,(Leave you trusted on low), dont do anything yet just leave the Zone Alarm window open. ![]() Back to te Recorder window (Continuing)Step 5: Now, start the recorder by pressing the play button. Note: It is best if you dont have anything else but ZAP and the recorder open. What this macro does is it automatically move the ZAP Firewall tab up and down, click on any other window in any other program while playing the macro may interfere with that window. ![]() Back to Zone Alarm Step 6: Make sure you already have it on the "Main" tab, and click on the "Med." section until a small gray outline appears, give it a few seconds, and it show be moving up and down on its own: ![]() There you go! Tips, Hints, and FAQs When do I start the Auto-Standby? I would wait until you get in the game, just so it doesnt do anything to the connections at the beginning. How should the connections look? The people who should be in low yellow/red bar are you, and everyone else who isnt in your trusted. Yes, you will be in red bar but your gameplay will be better than the others in red bar, so dont panic. I tend to go into blue screen, what should I do? There are 2 things you can do: 1)While the tab is moving up and down, press down on your keyboard until the slider goes to "Low", it will move from "Low" to "Med", but the connections will all be normal, so not to worry, then when you return to gameplay, simply press "Up" on your keyboard one time. 2)Change the delay time. I have made it so its perfect but just in case you need to ill show you how: ![]() See where its highlighted in blue? Thats the delay time in milliseconds, seconds is display on the very bottom tab. where it says "Line Delay: 0/1.95s"(1950ms = 1.95 seconds). Change that by using the small Up & Down arrows. But like I said, this should be perfect if not close, so there wouldnt really be a need to. Well, since I'm host, how do I boot people? You may not have to turn the macro off, but I would stop it just in case. On the macro window, next to the small play button, press the stop button "The small black square" Go to your ZAP, go to Zones. Now your gonna either need CommVeiw or Cain & Abel to look up his IP. I take it you know how, so once you do that, do the same as you wer inputting your friends IP, but instead of "Trusted", change it to "Block": ![]() Press OK. Then, one the bottom right hand corner click "Apply" Go to your "Main" tab and put your Firewall(Internet Zone Security) on "Med" and Trusted on "Med"(If that doesnt work, put your firewall on "High" for about 2-3 seconds) Check the connections, whoever seems to have an instant red bar and their name is faded is the person your lagging out. If your going into blue screen, leave in on high for 2 more seconds, then put it to low. If that didnt lag him out, try a second or 2 longer. Hope this helps! -Krafty
