Exclamation Bridging with 2 Ethernet Ports . . .

After reading over every related tutorial, I have yet to find a solution to my problem . . .

I am currently trieng to bridge using 2 ethernet cards
- one Crossover cable from back of computer to Xbox
- ethernet cord from back of computer to 2- Wire Gateway

when i open my network connections, i have the two seperate connections . . . i copy down the DNS codes from both of them, and the highlight them both . . . then , i bridge the two connections . . .then, I can sign into xbox live like normal but cant ever seem to bridge some one host, even after i get there ip, put it in zone alrm pro, have them create a party ect . . .

I can still conect and play games . . .but i ALSO cant connect to the internet and Play online at the same time .. .

MY 2 MAIN QUESTIONS . . .

1. Why cant i use the internet and play online at the same time . .

2. HOW can i bridge host with my current setup . . .

You can send me a freind request on xbox live - GENERAL DAVIS 1, and explain or do it here if you feel like typing

PS . .. I HAVE read over every post about bridging yet nothing has Helped , PLEEEEAASSEEE HELP!!!:cry2:

Hey dude, I have the same setup, since my moniter and TV is no more than an inch away from each other. to answer your second, everyone knows you cant get around the "patch", but actually there is a simple way, i dont know if people want me to post it but I actually did some bridging last night, and standbying, and didnt get suspended and to answer your first, you must have Windows XP, if you dont then thats your problem, if you DO, then try unbridging them, then using the internet and then xbox to see if they work, if not then just bridge them together, I sure one of the other members can help. Im not much of a computer nerd.. just a gaming nerd Well hopefully that helped

yeah before when i bridged with two ethernet cards and i had that problem

if you want to go on the internet on your computer at the same time you have to put you gateway in your trusted.

It's either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or you can find with the cmd just type ipconfig
and press enter

look for default gateway and put that in your trusted

you can't bridge someone host the normal way anymore.

I bridged for how all night...yesterday It wouldn't work. I cleared my cache and still can't bridge for host, I think host banning is true. If someone wants to explain how, hit me up please. Thanks for your time.
