OK I have Cain and Abel and ZAP. I can get my own host and I can kick people out.

This is all happening in GTA4

Now I'm trying to match up with my friend I know how to add his IP address to the trusted zone and all that.

Whats the best way for me and him to match up at least like 85% of the time.

he tried just installing ZAP and add my IP to the trusted and was hoping it would only find my game, but that did work.

So is there a way that he can block other peoples IPs and only join my room when he searches or whats the best program for him to use in order to match up with just me.

This isnt the right area since this part of bridging only has to do with Halo 2.

no because unless there was a head to head mode i dont think it would work

If you want a sure fire way to match up with him you can always see if he can set up a bridged connection as well and add your IP to trusted with both of your firewalls on high. This is the technique used when circle boosting. Once you were matched up if you want more people to join it would be a choice of lowering your firewall or not.
