I'm very new to cheating in halo 2 and I have been looking around the forums for bridging and I am trying to learn how to standby (auto standby with the progams) with a router but I'm not sure if I can use it because I know you need a modem.

help would be appreciated.

Its quite simple, all you have to do is pull the plug on your modem right before you want to kill the guy, then you kill him, then plug the ethernet cord back in. Make sure you don't have your cord out of your modem for over 4-5 seconds depending on your internet or else you get disconnected, and also make sure you are host.

There should be 4 holes aka ports for you to put in the back of your router. They look like this.

Click the image to open in full size.

You would need to whats called "Auto standby". There is a tutorial for that right here.

Could you take a picture of your modem and router or give me the names of the 2 so I can see what they look like?

I have aim, I only use 1 IM program and AIM is the only thing I will ever use. If you decide to download AIM I can guide you through it if youve never used it via PM.
