Where's a good place to buy a crossover cable and a router with a stanby button?

I know i can probably just get both at a best buy or circuit city, but I have no idea which I should buy and the names of them. Any help would be alwsome.

Yeah you're right you can go to Best Buy
You need a modem with a standby button though, not a router 0.o Some ISPs are specific as to what they'll let you use so watch out....

First you need to call your ISP and see if you bring in a new router if they'll let you use it

Dang, I just looked on my modem and read what the little button said and it read "Standby" lol. Do I need to connect my system directly to the modem to standby or should I just be able to press it and it will work? Also, will I have to press it twice (once to turn it off, then on again)

If you're trying to standby in Halo2, you don't even need the crossover cable I don't think...just hit the button and hit it again while you're playing...I don't know much about Halo2 cheating 'cause it's lame but I know that much at least

I know you don't need a crossover cable for H2 cheating, I was planning on bridging host so I can standby. I only cheat because I get sick of kids who play halo all day and think they're good because they killed me. I usually don't cheat though. That's one reason why I sold my modded xbox.

You know that you can't bridge anymore. Right? And if you standby it is hard to get host again becuase it will show your connection was bad..It's not worth going through all this and spending the money..Halo 3 comes out in like 2 weeks..
