my ethernet card isnt working :[

alright i installed my new ethernet card whiich is a linksys NC100 Fast Ethernet Card
and now when i bridge it with Local Area Connection 1 the NC100 ethernet card which is LAC 2 wont work i click status and its Sending alot but not reciviing anything ughhelp would be appreciated

Go to your Device Manager and see if it's missing drivers, that's usually the problem, the CD that came with it should also have the drivers I believe.

if ur tryin to bridge with it u need to highlight both n click right side of mouse n click bridge connections



you probably didnt bridge it right try using diff crossover cable

you should jusat bridge thorugh your router, its a lot easier and you dont need a crossover, heres a link to kraftys thread on how to router bridge.

i cant use cain cuz it crashes all the time and ill make the situation clearer. my ethernet card will recieve packets but not send any idk whats going on ive messed around in properties and last night it worked somehow but if anyone can help id appreciate it mucho thnx
