| ok so i could bridge b4 but i moved my router and modem upstairs. I use all the same stuff cab;es programs everything. But when i add an ip and turn my firewall on high, the person doesn't get host. sometimes we don't even get box host. I know now i am using a PPPOE setting with a password and username and i might not even be able to bridge with that. lol, help me, i need answers! | ||||||

| I have two internet connections. They are both entry type network, and the zone for both is internet...they both have ips/dns. I have bungie's ip, 65.59.234.161. Then I have my friend who i want to bridge, his and his ip. I put those in trusted, also my loopback adapter also. He makes the party and I turn my firewall to high, and my trusted zone on off, as usual, but he doesn't get host. Not sure whats wrong...I have the crossover cable in the back of my computer...I dunno. Also, anyone wanna mod me up sometime in something. I can't really find any more games at some of my levels, and I figure they are so high, why not mod? My gamertag is Darkest0ne. Thats a zero in 0ne. I am a 42 in slayer, a 38 in double, a 37 in snipes and skirmish, a 35 in btb, a 32 in hardcore (I hate it) and a 29 in rumble (I hate that too) I'd probably wanna mod mostly in skirmish, double, and hardcore. I found a 44 in btb and we are going to straight boost of him, and I can get slayer up bridging...once I get that wokring. I have thirteen 48 hour trials if you modders need any. Thanks. | ||||||

| Important, everyone know this! If you have a 360 and you have a PPPOE setting, you don't need it to log in to live. I added it underneath network options on the dashboard. I could not bridge. I removed it and could still log in to live. I can now bridge that was my problem. So let people know, if they can bridge, but the person doesn't get host, and sometimes they don't even get box host, make sure they have the message, "no PPPOE settings set." Underneath their dashboard live connection settings. If they need a setting to log in, then they cannot bridge. At least it works now. | ||||||

| Not too sure. Don't have my xbox anymore. I know I didn't use PPPOE settings then. Were you able to bridge using either of those xboxs before? If you could, you might try looking on the dashboard for internet settings and check. | ||||||

| there is a PPoE setting on the original xbox, just go to network, turn it to automatic, and restart box and go to town on live | ||||||
