how do i make it so my xbox ip dosent change

my xbox ip changes like every 30 min how do i fix it ( thanks will be given for helpfull info)

set your ip to static. but if its you external ip address thats changing you cant control that im pretty sure.

go to the dashboard then network settings and change the ip address to static and type in the IP addres you want. It HAS to be 192.168.x.x. Then leave everything else the same.

Make sure you're on the same subnet as your network.

If you're using a Linksys router, your ip needs to be 192.168.1.x
