Bridging With Crossover Ethernet

Question Bridging With Crossover Ethernet

Hey does anyone know if its ok to bridge if you have the "thicker" ethernet cable AKA crossover cable, because if KRAFTY 's tut it says Ethernet cords (regular cords).

Does the one that comes with 360....is that a ethernet or crossover?

there is a difference btw the cables. i re-wired a ethernet so i didnt have to buy a crossover. the wires under the pins are switched around. makign the crossover better for pc - pc or xbox - pc interaction best. thats y u need it for commview, it cant detect the xbox without this certain wiring.

but u can jsut use it for internet depending on teh circumstances.

Its a normal ethernet cable, but the 360 does not need a crossover cable to bridge with it. The cable that came with your 360 will work just fine.
