how come people lag out and stay in blue screen sometimes???

ive noticed that sometimes when i standby myself host in a game, players lag out or they will be in blue screen for the entire game untill they quit. what up wit dat!?!? it only happens sometimes though, and it only happens when i "standby host", if i bridge my friends host it never happens. most of the time i have a perfect game and i host the tap dancing crap out of people. but occassionaly players will lag out right when the game starts. one game i played in on beaver creek, the game started and immediatly two of my teamates got lagged out and one person got lagged out on the other team. my remaining teammate and i were still able to play and conversate. however, only one of the other teams players was still in the game and the other two were in blue screen the whole time...very odd. i'm not saying that i want to use this to my advantage but i just want to know what causes it.

i dont really play rumble pit very often. i like the team games mostly. btb and such.

it happened twice in a row a minute ago in btb. both games i played, one of my teammates got lagged out.

I'm not totally sure about this but here is my theory:

I think this happens when you don't press the "STOP" button quick enough after going to step 4. This means that you basically cut off the connection to everyone and when you finally did hit stop there was enough time for some people to come back, but not everyone.

They usually stay in blue screen for around 30 seconds b4 they lag out, when you enter the game put your firewall to off instead of med and they should come back into the game*Usually*.
