What is bridging/forcing host/standbying?
Bridging is manipulating the connection of xbox live, making it so you can point host to anyone but yourself in this matter.
Forcing host is blocking all connections of everyone which is done on Step 2 when going into matchmaking while bridgind. Whoevers IP you have in trusted will have the only opening in connection, therefore the host will have to go to that person.
Standbying is disconnecting everyone from the gameplay for an allotted amount of time, and then reconnecting.
Team Standbying is manipulating everyone who isnt in your trusted zones' connections.
What ways are there to bridge?
You can do it through a router, 2 ethernet ports on one PC, or 1 ethernet port and a wireless card connectiong to a wireless modem/router.
Why do people bridge?
Well, Ill tell ya, cause its quite simple.People bridge to a) Prevent themselves from getting cheated or B) To win...easily.
And thats about it. Now, another thing is, If you bridge, are in a party while someones bridged, or have been bridged host in a game, you are not legit. Dont argue that fact because you are manipulating the connetions to your likings, in other ways, your cheating, even if its to prevent you and your party from getting cheated. If you play legit, cheat a couple ranks, and play legit from straight on, your still unlegit. But come on, its just s silly number/symble. Yeah, thats what everyone says, but do they mean it? That you'll have to find out yourself.
Well, if your host, whats difference does it make in gameplay?
Its not hard to tell. But say its a BR game for example, normally, shooting someone from across the map, youll be lucky to even get a hit out of them from such a distance. But with host, your shots are more likely to hit the enemy, you can snipe more easily across maps, and the enemy may have to melee you down 3 times instead of 2 to kill you. Now this doesn't make you super-invincible, unless you really know how to use host, but you get the idea.
How do you know who's host?
When you are at step 4, hold the "Back" button on your controller, the list of players will show up(scoreboard).The hosts' emblem will be the first to appear, everyone else will have an "X", and then their emblems appear. So whoevers emblem shows up first is host. Sometimes the emblems appear pretty quickly before you can tell who it is, but trust me, hosts' emblem always appears first. And no, if 2 peoples emblems appear at the same time, either one of them is host or they are on the same xbox.
Is circle boosting cheating? Even if your not hurting anyone?
Oh come on now, of course it is. Your taking the easy way so yes, its cheating.
So, this is a good way to easily get a number/rank, but is it worth it?
Thats up to you, im not making the choices for you. I would say at least play the damn game but whatever floats your boat. Just take my advice, if you have to spend money on any hardware to bridge, dont do it. About 60% of the people(including me) can bridge, you can too if you wanted but yeah. And at least 45% will do it for free.
Wait, whats better, cheating by modding or bridging?
Modding is suppose to be fun, depending on how the modder mods the map, but its a good way for him/you to get banned. Bridging you acually have to play the game sometime, unless you standby, but after you hit 38-40, it gets hard to find games while bridging and can be time consuming trying to find a game at that level.
How come when I have a party of 3/4, there always a party with one less person on the other team who matches up and then leaves, what the hell? Isnt there a way to lock them in?
Hmm, well that is highly annoying. Most of the time its because thats a party with a bridger, the party will show up but because the bridger is blocking you, he doesnt show up. It could also be those desperate people who keep going in and out until they get boxes. No you cant lock them in, that only happens when you have a map loaded, and they join with the same map already loaded, therefore it will throw you guys into a game.
Say im not bridging, but I get boxes, does that mean I wont get cheated?
Nope, you are in a big state of risk as well as you would be if you didnt get boxes.
What about feedback? Can I remove it?
NO! All feedback is sent to Bungies database, which you cant access unless you hack into it which is not possible and were not gonna get into it. That clearing registery/cache with ZAP rumor does not work, its been tested and proven false. Its not my fault Bungie cant ban everyone on the spot, but wouldnt you think they have enough **** on their hands?
How long do you think I can bridge before I get suspended/banned?
Uh...if your just forcing host, you shouldnt worry too much. There are people who've bridged for years and havent gotten caught. Now, if you bridging someone so they can standby/mod, thats different, your most likely to get in the same amount of trouble in that case.
What is Team Standbying?
Team standbying is done in 2 ways(and to point this out, the person who is team standbying has to have host):
1)A person is host, he has Zone Alarm, what he does is takes all the people in the party and puts their IP in trusted, and moves his firewall on high to med and a steady pace. (See Auto-Team Standby)
2)A person just uses the standby button on their modem or yanks the cord from their modem.
What does it do?
1)What this does is, since hes host all the connections for the people in the game go through HIM, so since he has his friends in trusted, their connections will be ok, everyone whos not in it will have a bad connection. Now to keep it like that and still have gameplay, the connection has to be between high and med, which is why it has to be moving between those settings. If kept on high, the connections for everyone else will lag out, kicking everyone out the game, and making it not count. If on Med, it wont do much of anything.
2)Basically he will be manipulating all the connections, causing everyone to lag but he will have a slightly better gameplay. This is somewhat harder since you have to approach the enemy before you pull the plug.
When Team-Standbying, I tend to be in red bar, is that normal or do I need to add my IP into trusted?
Adding your IP in trusted wont do crap. Yes, thats normal but your gameplay will be slightly better than those on the other team.
Is it possible to point host at more than one person?
Well, if you add 2 peoples IP in your trusted, only one of the will get host. The only way is if there are 2+ people on the same Xbox, since the xbox is used as the server of the game. Other than that, no, there can only be one host.
Is bridging the Xbox 360 different from the original?
No. People believe that Bungie can track down people who bridge on 360's easier, well thats false. The only advantage that comes of 360's is if you buy the premium pack, the ethernet cord provided is a crossover. Thats about it, nothing too special.
The enemy said they we're gonna steal my account..help?
Thats a load of ****. Let's not talk about it. If anyone's desperate enough to do that type of **** over a video game, they need to get a life someone in the outdoors. The only way they can take your account is if you are stupid enough to give them any valuable infomation(IE:Email, Password, Credit Card Nuber, etc.).
Can I bridge with a wireless/game adapter?
Not that I know of. The Xbox/360 has to be connected to the PC using an ethernet cable/crossover. The PC, however, can use a wireless connection to the internet and you can bridge that way.
Whats the difference between an ICS and a NIC card?
Honestly, I have no damn clue except ICS is the one that comes with PC's and NIC you have to buy. Like I stated above, if you choose to buy an NIC card just to cheat. Please sit yourself down and think, is it really worth it?

What does this mean?

The man in the middle is able to monitor, filter, modify and edit any and all traffic moving between the LAN's unsuspecting and inherently trusting computers. In fact, there is nothing to prevent it from filling every computer's ARP cache with entries pointing to it, thus allowing it to effectively become a master hub for all information moving throughout the network.
In other words, your basically making it so you have a direct connection with your computer and another computer, this is known as "router bridging" in our case. Im a real nub, whats the point of IP addresses?

IP version 4: Those series of numbers separated by dots is known as Ipv4. It is a mathematical equation which we are running out of quickly. Just like in a home town addresses have to be created for new neighborhoods but, if your neighborhood gets too large, you will have to come up with a another pool of addresses. The Ipv4 is limited to how many addresses can be created for public use.
IP version 5: This is an experimental protocol for UNIX based systems. In keeping with standard UNIX (a computer Operating System) release conventions, all odd-numbered versions are considered experimental. It was never intended to be used by the general public.
IP version 6:The new mathematical formula to replace Ipv4 for expanding the public IP address pool. It has not been released yet but will be very soon. What you do is have a bridger force you host,Open Zone Alarm, grab his, and everyone else in the parties IP. And then when in gameplay, either use a macro, or move your internet firewall from high to medium at about a 1 second rate. You can do it quickly if your just gonna standby when you get close to an enemy, but keep your trusted on low. If you go into blue screen turn yoru firewall down.

Usually its not a problem, but if you cant hear him, after you get in the game, if your only bridging turn your firewall to medium, or low if you have to.

That is normal, the other team will see you lagging, but your gameplay should be pretty smooth. The bridger and all the other people in your trusted should have green bar or at least yellow.

Sometimes they start you off with a 1-2 day warning, up to like a 2 week suspension. Bridging you may just get suspended or banned, depends on your luck. If you get caught circle boosting your permenatly banned. The suspension times may vary.

Aside of teh timing having to be perfect, this does not work 100% of the time. You are most likely to get it if your good at it, but you could be off by a hair and it could ruin your whole chace.

I'm not familiar with how it works since I dont take the time to do it. But what it is, lets take double team fro example since thats where it occurs the most;2 people go in, the game starts(You do not need to have host for this to work), the game starts. What they do is pull their ethernet cords out of their xbox/router at the exact same time, if you are a millisecond off, or go down a level, you or him/her did it wrong. Wait a while, then plug it back in. You should be the only ones in the game and you should rank up if you did it correctly.
Whats the easiest way to time ourselves for the lag-out glitch?
Most people use the in-game timer. For instance, they will do it as soon as it reaches 5 mins, or 4, etc... The easiest is to have 2 accounts on a 360 and to do it that way. But now people are saying 2 accounts on a 360 doesnt work anymore, so you'll have to find out for yourself.

How do you lock people in?
You can't force people to lock in a game, the only way is when they have loaded the same map already when they search for a game, it will automatically throw you guys into the game, but you cannot lock people in yourself.
For Cain & Abel, it says something about no WinPcap Driver, where can I get that? WinPcap, the Packet Capture and Network Monitoring Library for Windows
To make sure go to your cain, right before you scan the addresses, go to the menu bar on the top of the program, and click "Configure", you will see the list of your ethernet boards, click the one you use to connect to your router, and below should be a box that says "WinPcap Version", when you click your ethernet board, v4.0 or so should show up in the box, when it does, go to the bottom and click apply.
Now you should be all set.
How do you IP Flood?
IP Flooding/Nuking is illegal and can get you into trouble through your ISP, also you can damage other peoples internet connections by doing so, so we dont talk about that here at Se7ensins. Read the rules.

How do I make a game not count?
Either have the host boot everyone on the other team, or if your in a party of 4, lag yourself out, now when you get to the pre-game stats, it should say your friends are still there, but when you get to the lobby, they wont. Now, go to your friends list, and go to "Recent Players", and it should say your friends are in your party. Boot all of them.
They will still be in the game, but they will recieve te message that they have been booted when you do so, thus, the game will not count for you guys.
What if I have Windows Vista? Can I still bridge with that?
