wireless and windows vista brdiging HELP!

I have the following programs:

Zone Alarm
Cain and Abel
CommView

Ok so heres my problem. I have a laptop that has wireless internet and I have windows vista. I dont understand what to do witht the crossover cable and setting the connections and stuff.

Yes, I have searched and reed a lot of tutorials. But im still in the need of some help. I have just need a quick walk through.

Im not some little kid whos gonna make you go step by step lol so dont worry about that.

So maybe we can go in private chat in xbl to make the communication go faster or AIM.
