Americans and the English...

Ok, so I’m English and have no problems with the Americans what so ever, but it seriously pisses me off when I open my mouth in a game of COD4 and I get some idiot, or squeaky voiced 13 year old screaming "You English suck, get the **** off this game, I hate you English". Of course it makes me retaliate but seriously, why do they do it?

When I’ve asked some of them what problem do they have, mostly I just get "I don't know" Come onnnnnn!!!! Some of them just join the bandwagon and copy what the older guys who might actually have a problem.

I know we eat crumpets, and drink tea, but Americans do their own **** too. And we don't speak like posh bastards either, maybe in the 1840's but not in this day and age.

I love hearing; "We kicked your *** in the war" Did you? What war is this, the war where England was once in control of America, yes, I’m speaking of the British Empire.

And wasn't it England who actually came along side America to help in the War in Iraq? And not to forget the help we got from the Americans in WW2, I’d most probably be speaking German if it weren’t for you guys.

To be honest, I like Americans, and I can't wait to go to Florida next month, but it really pisses me off when I get little bastards on Live giving me **** for being English, I’m not trying to start some big Internet argument here, so if you're going to post, just be a normal human. And if my knowledge of history is wrong, please correct me lol.

I respect the fact you're patriotic but in matter of fact, America don't own the world.

And in fact England isn’t the best country ever, I love my country but it is always raining and ****. What have we done for the world, well you guys are speaking English right, would you rather have that ****ty French language lol? And we helped America fight war on Terrorism. There are many things.

Its not all Americans, its only the immature ones, and alot of british people do the same exact thing to us... so you cant really say its one or the other

My dads side of the family (Irish) goes back to your country like idk almost 400-600 years ago.

My moms side of the family, from france, is a lot younger though, like 150-250 years ago.

The thing with 9/11 was, we never expected that, but you guys did. If we hadn't had 9/11, you'd all have been ****ed over at least 12 times.

The airport, the bomb guy who was building suicide belts, bus bombs (that went off, but not as many as expected) ect.

You guys should be happy that we got bombed first, as horrible as that sounds, it saved your asses. Speaking about 9/11 is just low, even if I heard some English guy saying **** like that i'd have to tell him to f*uckoff, and I do agree, the **** that happened in America raised awarness, and we would of been screwed alot worse than what we was.

To be honest, I think Americans are ****ing awesome, the amount of **** you guys eat, the massive drinks yous get, the steaks, the woman, and not to mention the movies, and of course the cool accent. I don't understand why some Americans and some English hate each other, does anyone actually know the history between it?

Yeah don't get too excited about the women, our country is big, their EXTREMLY spread out.

Also, I eat horribly, and I'm not fat, or dead yet.

And I think it's just because everybody is arrogant about their country, it's not even patriotic in my opinion to talk **** about somebodys country because they talked **** about yours, it's immature, and not patriotic. It just proves that your an idiot.

The only reason I can think of is people that think they are the best. There is people like this in everywere so theres some English that think they are the best and some Americans that think they are the best. More than likely this is what the main causes for the whole arguments are.
-A group of American's go into a game and people from England are in there. As soon as the Americans say something they get yelled at and ranted at by the English. Then the Americans leave and go into another game, English people join the game. Since the Americans are already pissed off at the English they make fun of the new people. It then becomes a constant cycle. (Note it could start the other way just saying in general)
-Little immature 12 year olds who need their balls to drop and like to start stuff over xbox live because they no that nobody will do anything except yell back at them.

People feel a need to say whatever they feel like when they no there are no consequences that could really happen. I mean what are you going to do, go down to where they live and beat the crap out of them? (which should actually happen just because some people deserve it)

Still I try and get along with everyone. I personally live in America, have all my life. Over the past few summers I had been in a student ambassador program where I travel abroad and learn cultures, socialize with others from different countries, and see their land. I have been to England, Ireland, Whales, Chin, Hong Kong, and this summer I will be going to Australia and New Zealand. Most people don't realize, we are very alike. England is almost if not exactly like America except with different people. Some people are just too imature to realize that and hold their superiority trying to make up for an inferiority. By the way most people who start fights with other cultures for absolutely no reason are normally conpensating for small body parts.

One morning a couple of my friends and I were playing, it was like 5AM, and after the game some people from England were talking **** to us, even though we won, one of my friends made a remark and then it was a shouting match, then someone said n*gger and this black guy went off about it, and then it was a shouting match between the English people and us verses the black dude and his friends. I was LOLing the whole time, it was great.
