Cheapest place you're going to get one is to pay the $299 at an Apple or AT&T Corporate store.

if I bought an iphone from att and renewed my contract buy signing a new 2 year contract with the iphone will my att wireless service bill be the same. because I heard that they charge like $10 dollars more a month for the wireless service with an iphone contract

Thats why they lowered the price of the iphone to make you think it would be cheaper, when actual its more expensive the edge phone.

Go to the apple site and read the service crap.

And no it starts at 30 dollars, and goes up to like 100 dollars I think
The cheapest gives you 200 txt messages a month and unlimited data.
