Microsoft: New Dashboard Coming out in November

Yes themes and gamer pictures will work and if you want to watch netflix with a friend you both have to have netflix(I was going to get netflix until I heard that).

It looks like it'll be okay, but then again yes it does mimic the wii. I'm very tired of child like things coming out, but people at microsoft don't think "dark" the way I do. =) Versions of it would be nice, 17+ *obviously 17 because you can liek srsly buy g4mes wh3n u turn 17* and one for 12-15, and then the rest go lower, or even full customization. It's nice that they're throwing in the ability to finally sit down and chat with multiple people like a private chat, but I hope that works for in game as well. That's what almost everyone's wanted, though i dunno if you guys think this too, they don't because of team games that people could just spectate you, or the enemy and tell where they're at. But if you also look at it, they do it anyways 1 on 1 chatting. *sigh* I'd give it a 7 out of 10, and a possibility upholding for microsoft. Like any other xbox 360 gamer in this forum, I'm going to update simply because I like playing the games, and don't care about the dashboard. I didn't buy it for the DB.

i agree looks way too much like the wii at least the background shouldnt have to be gray and the people could look less 6 yr oldish

The whole idea of it is good, especially the feature to save your games to the HDD for faster loadings - Even the theming will look great once we pop our custom themes into it but the whole "avatar" thing looks really childish - it should be optional

i'm getting netflix because if it i use blockbuster online deal but if i can watch it over my 360 then i'm for it

Netflix is worth it but i was mainly getting it to watch movies with my friends, now that you both have to have netflix(most of my friends don't) I don't really think I am interested any more. I will just save the money and get gamefly instead.

Well, Like most of you prolly know from my ranting when it was first shown at E3, I Dont like this Dashboard at all. I like the Features and a few of the Ideas along with them, but the Dashboard layout is.... So-So. but after a few months of getting used to the inevidable Dashboard update. I have come to realize that, just like the other updates, they dont tell you Everything that will be changing. They always leave some things out and let you either find them yourself or post an "All Features Guide" on Xbox.com. So in conclusion, With all of the debating in my head, here on se7ensins and other websites, I have decided to give it a chance. I will be updating to this... Medeocre at best, Childrens, dashboard and hopefully I will have my mind changed about it. I just wanted to point one thing out about the features that I dont like, Besides the 6 year-old friendly Avatars, and that is the Ability to save games to your HDD. I get the fact that it will speed up Loading times, But really its not worth losing the Gig space on my HDD for the 10-20 second faster loading time. Also... Whats with having to keep your game in the Tray? I mean I know it will stop people from Renting games and saving em but c'mon....
Anyways thats just how I feel about the whole thing, We'll see what happens in Late november i guess.
