Xbox 360 price getting slashed to $299?

"Premium" console could be getting price cut in the near future

Some very juicy pre-E3 news has possibly hit the 'net earlier today. A picture of a K-Mart ad shows the Xbox 360 20GB version at a "New Low Price" of $299. The ad is set to circulate in July 6 newspapers, which is the Sunday after next. Though price cuts have been anticipated, there isn't any word on the status of the prices for the Arcade, Elite, and all consoles overseas.
