READ BEFORE YOU POST!

So, to make it a bit easier on the staff (and for searching purposes), we ask that you try to use the following tags when creating threads about a specific iPod.

This will make it a lot easier for everybody to find what they are looking for.

Here are the definitions:

[HACK] - The topic relates to either alternative software or firmware for your iPod. Most of the time it will just modify the looks (iTouch, Panel, Classic, Showtime...etc.). Sometimes it will modify the whole OS, like iPodLinux or Rockbox.

[THEME] - This means it is a theme for a specific hack. Should follow with the name of the specific hack it works for. (Example- [THEME][Panel] Will ONLY work with the Panel hack)

[5G/5.5G]- This is used to state that the hack is for both 5G and 5.5G iPod Videos. Very rarely will a hack be released for only one of them. But this makes it clear, just in case.

[NANO]- This means that the topic pertains to the G1 Nano.

Determine which version of iPod Video you have -

To find out if you have a 5G or 5.5G iPod, power on the iPod and look at the screen. If you have the search feature, you have a 5.5G iPod. If not, you have a 5G iPod. Make sure you know what you have, because if you download the wrong version, you have to restore your iPod.

Determine what kind of iPod Nano you have-

These are the G1, G2, and G3 Nanos, from left to right.

There are currently only mods available for the G1 Nanos.
