Trail of Flames behind your rocket. Ok. I have had a few people asking me to make a tutorial on how to make a trail of fire behind a rocket. So here it is.
Things you will need.
1.Dot Halo
2.A map
3.Basic modding knowledge.
How to add fire to your rocket.
1.Open your map in Dot Halo.
2.Go to the [proj]Projectile
3.Go down until you see this...
objects\weapons\support_high\rocket_launcher\proje ctile\rocket
4.Click on it.
5.Go to the dependancies tab.
6.Right click this...
effe-effects\objects\weapons\support_high\rocket_launch er\rocket_exhaust
7.Selects "Goto Tag"
8.Go to the dependencies tab.
9.Edit everything to look like this...
prt3-effects\generic\flares\ring
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\melee\energy_blade\glow_bl ade
prt3-effects\generic\fires\fire
prt3-effects\generic\flares\burst
pmov-effects\particle_physics\sparks
10.You are done with the first part. Now go back to the [proj]projectile tab
11.Click on the rocket again.
12.Go to the dependancies tab again.
13.Right click this...

14.Select "Goto Tab"
15.Go to the dependencies tab.
16 edit everything to look like this.
