X-DSL Installation

If you read the other tutorials and still dont get or you have a wierd xbox like mine :laughing:
Heres a tut,
First get xdsl (can be found on this website) extract the files from the .iso (can be done with winrar archive). Download cromwell (need it pm me)
Click the image to open in full size.
then make a KNOPPIX (case sensitive) file in the E directory and put linux24 and minirt.gz in the folder along with the KNOPPIX file inside

Put Cromwell in the apps folder.
then take the linuxboot.cfg file open it with text editor and change the text to

640x480
kernel /KNOPPIX/linux24
initrd /KNOPPIX/minirt24.gz
append root=/dev/ram0 init=/etc/init rw video=xbox:640x480 lang=xbox utc mydsl=hda50 joy quiet kbd-reset
title
800x600
kernel /KNOPPIX/linux24
initrd /KNOPPIX/minirt24.gz
append root=/dev/ram0 init=/etc/init rw video=xbox:800x600 lang=xbox utc mydsl=hda50 joy quiet kbd-reset
title
480p
kernel /KNOPPIX/linux24
initrd /KNOPPIX/minirt24.gz
append root=/dev/ram0 init=/etc/init rw video=xbox:480p lang=xbox utc mydsl=hda50 joy quiet kbd-reset
title
720p
kernel KNOPPIX/linux24
initrd KNOPPIX/minirt24.gz
append root=/dev/ram0 init=/etc/init rw video=xbox:720p lang=xbox utc mydsl=hda50 joy quiet kbd-reset

then put that linuxboot.cfg into the E directory
Click the image to open in full size.

Load cromwell and then after it boots select fatx and load 640x480
