I'm working on delta towers 03 and converting it is fine with clean maps (colossus) but then modding it in any way (cloning netgame chunks, scenary placements etc) kills the map (freezes whilst loading) I tried to do the mods before the conversion and H2G wont have any of it
I'm thinking about converting a map placing a copy some where safe then building in the crap I want in the map then redecompiling the converted map and then deleting or adding chunks via H2G then rebuilding but that wont delete stuff (it should but doesn't)
could anyone give some advice to modding a bsp conversion?
hmm I might try using containment in future (big map may player spawns may weapon spawns teleporters all ready in scenary
k, theres like a freak error with h2core sometimes when it rebuilds. when cloning afterwards, the idents will ALL be broken when added. use containment, like brown wigga said, as ur base map.
